My story is rooted in this community- in its challenges, its triumphs, and its unyielding spirit.
Kevin Stuart has strong leadership skills gathered over 30 years of working experience in the financial industry in Vancouver, Toronto, and Winnipeg. Kevin settled in Winnipeg nearly 15 years ago where he has worked for National Bank Financial, BMO Nesbitt Burns, Manulife Securities and Richardson Wealth.
Kevin’s career has been focused on ethics and accountability in the financial sector, with expertise in compliance and risk management. This experience has taught him that hard work, sound investments, and ethical behavior lead to optimum results.
Kevin, now retired, is an avid runner, bicyclist, and supporter of local arts, music, and culture. Kevin is committed to diversity, reconciliation, and creating safe spaces for all voices and perspectives through working together in collaborative partnerships. He possesses an Associate Certificate in Building Design and Architectural CAD with honors from British Columbia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts Degree
with minors in Publishing and English from Simon Fraser University.
Kevin is a proud Winnipegger who believes in our City and sees greatness in our collective futures. He is committed to responsible public service and to effectively representing the citizens of Fort Rouge-East Fort Garry on City Council.
